contact card is in beta apple introduced enhanced message filtering (ios 16+) that may route texts from unknown numbers into a separate âunknown sendersâ or âspamâ tab to help keep your messages in the main inbox, aiq allows you to send your verified contact card (vcard) so customers can easily save your brand as a known contact saving your card improves deliverability and message recognition what is a contact card? campaign sends are useful when you want to reach existing opted in contacts who already receive your messages but may not have your card saved you can also use a campaign send if youâve updated your contact card (for example, new logo, website, or branding) and want to re send it to everyone within a defined lookback window is there a cooldown period for sending contact cards? yes aiq enforces a 90 day cooldown between contact card sends per recipient this means a contact will not receive another card if theyâve already been sent one within the past 90 days whether through an automatic opt in send or a campaign send you can adjust this window using the lookback setting when creating a campaign what happens if i enable the âsend add to contacts cardâ toggle on a campaign but havenât set up my contact card? the system wonât send anything until all required fields in texting â contact card are completed once configured, automatic and campaign sends will use the stored contact identity can i resend a contact card if iâve updated my brand info? yes create a campaign send and adjust the lookback setting to include contacts who havenât received a card within your chosen timeframe this is ideal after updating your logo, website, or other brand details whatâs the difference between automatic sends and campaign sends? automatic sends go out to new or re opted in contacts automatically (no setup required) campaign sends let you target existing opted in contacts , such as those who havenât saved your number or when you want to re introduce your brand what does âonly send to new contactsâ mean? when enabled, aiq sends contact cards only to contacts that have never received one before when disabled, aiq may resend to existing contacts based on your lookback period do contact cards count toward message limits or sms credits? no sending a contact card doesnât consume additional sms credits beyond the initial campaign message itself can i customize the design of my contact card? the layout follows standard vcard formatting supported by ios you can customize your logo, display name, and website , but structure and fields are standardized for compatibility
