the lifecycle tab helps you understand how you're acquiring and retaining customers over time view customer retention metrics across date segments (up to one year) and filter by retail partner to see store specific performance leaky bucket this section visualizes customer retention patterns through a stacked bar chart and summary table customer types new – first time buyers repeat – customers who have purchased multiple times gone – customers who have churned the stacked bar chart displays daily customer distribution across the selected time period each bar represents a single day, with color coded segments showing the breakdown of customer types hover over any bar to view the specific number of customers for each type on that day you can also select options in the top toggle to see customer retention by time period, ranging from the past week (last 7 days) to the last year customers won back customer reactivation is also tracked by showing gone customers who returned to active status it includes the following a line graph displaying reactivation trends over time total count of customers won back during the selected period this metric updates based on the time period setting selected above lifecycle this section analyzes all time customer engagement patterns and predicts the likelihood of future purchases based on shopping behavior lifecycle stages active customers following their regular shopping cycle idle customers who have started to deviate from their shopping cycle absent customers who have noticeably deviated from their shopping cycle highly absent customers who have significantly deviated from their shopping cycle gone customers who have completely deviated from their shopping cycle understanding "gone" customers don't be alarmed if the majority of your customers fall into the "gone" category this is typical across businesses, as most customers make purchases infrequently or have irregular shopping patterns retailer breakdown the retailer breakdown provides a detailed overview of customer lifecycle distribution by individual retailer for each customer lifecycle stage, the following is also provided number of customers the actual number of customers in the category revenue the amount of revenue generated by customers in the category percentage proportion of the total customer base represented by this lifecycle stage this breakdown helps identify which retailers have stronger customer retention and which may need targeted reactivation strategies
