POSaBIT
POSaBIT is a fully integrated partner that allows the pulling of customer records along with discount redemption during the checkout process. POSaBit also has an in-checkout signup screen that can capture new loyalty & optins for marketing.
In order to connect POSabit to AIQ, you must locate your API key for both systems 1. Log in to AIQ and navigate to the Settings section on the top right
2. Click on API
3. Make a note of the UID for your account and copy the key
4. Next, head to Manage store(s)
5. Make note of the ID: number next to each of your Stores
You now have to take this information and log in to your POSaBIT web portal
6. Once in POSaBIT, navigate to Settings in the top nav and click Integrations
7. Click the blue New Integration button and fill out "Alpine iq - Loyalty" in the Integration dropdown selector
8. Fill out the API Key & UID you grabbed earlier
9. Enter your store ID number into the Data field and replacing the "#" with the stores's number { "store_id": # }
10. While in POSaBit, locate your API key they provide per Storename and make sure to grant all of the Permissions including Menu Feed Access, Incoming Orders Access, Venue Data Access, and Enhanced Customer Data Access
11. Back in AIQ, head to Settings > Data Integrations and search for the POSaBit integration and click Connect

13. Scroll down to the Loyalty section and make sure you check off the box next to "* All users are age compliant with my industry?":
14. Lastly, click the green Update Connection button at the bottom to save all the settings and begin pulling data
NOTE: Do not touch any other settings in this integration card without consulting an Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager as they can affect your data and the customer's opt-in status!
A few things to note:
- Within 24 hours, you should see data populating in AIQ
- Look under your Personas page in AIQ. The integration is functioning properly if you see "posabit" under the Sourced from column
- Once you see data coming through AIQ, you must "map" the API key to the store(s) to assign a "favorite store" to the customer
How to map a store:
- Navigate to Settings -> Manage store(s)
- Click Customize
3. Under Map store names you'll see the POSaBit symbol
4. Click on the empty field to the right of the symbol and a dropdown will appear to "map" the key
5. Click the green Save settings button If nothing appears when you click in the field, the key may have been entered incorrectly and should review the steps above
This process must be replicated if/when a new store is added!
Use AIQ's last backup - Turn this on to freeze your data from this source from the last audience run and discontinue hitting the sources API for new data. DO NOT TURN ON UNLESS SWITCHING POS AND WANT TO KEEP DATA
Sync Personas - Enabling this will make AIQ sync all new contact signups generated from AIQ services into the integration. This will only send creations after enabled and does not include profile updates.
Sync Personas to relevant market -Enabling this will make AIQ only sync contacts that belong to the given credential's region/state
Send Text double-optins if imported after: - used for sending requests to join the marketing communications, this will trigger an SMS to be sent to any phone number that is not currently opted in(message shown under SMS defaults). Keep in mind that if this setting is removed later on it can cause loyalty profiles to be lost if they only used this setting to become a member and did not use a signup form - not recommended to change after it is set!
Sourced contacts are considered loyal - this will auto-enroll any persona sourced from POSaBIT as a loyalty member regardless of signup on a form, useful to speed up the process and catch everyone into loyalty via this source. Keep in mind that if this setting is removed later on it can cause loyalty profiles to be lost if they only used this setting to become a member and did not use a signup form - not recommended to change after it is set! Loyalty points imported on - if a date is filled in we will pull in loyalty points and stop afterwards from POSaBit, use this in conjunction by turning on the loyalty points within AIQ by heading to Settings > Loyalty > Points accrual start date and set that for the following day
POSaBit can redeem discounts within the checkout process without having to rely on our Budtender view. Please make sure that all discounts/rewards are created in AIQ first and then mirrored accordingly in POSaBit.
