Lightspeed R-Series
Review our Integration Grid for supported features.
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations, search for Lightspeed R and click the green Connect button.
- Click Connect Account via OAuth2
- Follow the prompts to authorize AIQ
- Click Edit on the Lightspeed R-Series Card
- Scroll down to the Loyalty section and check off the box next to Required All users from this source have passed an age gate compliant with my industry.
- Lastly, click the green Update Connection button at the bottom of the settings. You have now completed the minimum settings needed to connect your integration!
- Navigate to Lightspeed POS
- Click Settings, scroll down
- Click Client API Access
AIQ makes it easy to pause data from syncing from individual store connections to the integration by Freezing the connection.
Freezing a key and be useful to pause data syncing if the API information is changed by Lightspeed and needs updated or to stop retain the data from Lightspeed if changing Point of Sale providers.
You can unfreeze the connection at any time.
To freeze and unfreeze Lightspeed connections, simply click the ❄️ (snowflake) icon from the Lightspeed integrations card located in Settings -> Data Integrations and follow the prompts to update the connection.
The snowflake icons will indicate the action that will be taken when selecting the option. The "snowflake" will freeze the connection while the "melting snowflake" will unfreeze the connection and allow for data to sync once more.
- Navigate to Settings -> Company Account > Retail Store
- Click Edit on the store you wish you map
- Under Store Mappings you'll see the Lightspeed R symbol
- Click on the empty field to the right of the symbol and a dropdown will appear to "map" the key
- Click Save settings and you are done mapping the store. Keep in mind this must be repeated for any additional stores that you add to the account.
- How long does it take before I start to see my POS data in AIQ?
- Within 24 hours, you should see data populating in AIQ
- How can I confirm that the integration is active and signups are being sent?
- Look under your Personas page in AIQ. The integration is functioning properly if you see "lightspeed" under the Sourced from column
- I am getting an account notification that I have unmapped stores, how can I fix this?
- Once you see data coming through AIQ, you must "map" the API key to the store(s) to assign a "favorite store" to the customer. See How to Map a Store above for directions on how to accomplish this.
