Campaign Builder
Use the campaign builder to create marketing campaigns for various channels.
- Navigate to Marketing > Campaigns
- Click + to create a new campaign
- Select your campaign type. You can select one of the following:
- Separate campaigns: Each selected channel message will be sent to the selected audience as its own campaign.
- A/B Testing Campaigns: This feature allows you set up a split test and use data to analyze the best content to send in your campaigns
- Waterfall Campaigns: This feature allows you to keep your messages flowing by automatically switching to the next best channel if one isn’t available. You will need to select multiple channels if Waterfall is selected.
Save (Draft Campaigns): You can save your campaign without exiting the building anytime by clicking the save button in the upper right corner. This now labels your campaign as a ‘draft’ instead of the legacy label of ‘inactive.’
The recipients step is where you'll decide crucial campaign information, such as who your campaign will target and how. See Receipients for details on filling this section out.
Refer to our specific articles for each Campaign Channel .
1. Email Campaigns
2. Legacy: Voice Drops
Once you've finished setting up your campaign, you'll have the opportunity to review each step in a single page and also be able to schedule when your campaign will go out. For details, check out Review.
- Save as Draft: This will save your campaigns as a draft to continue working on later. This will not set the campaign as live.
- Launch campaign: This will validate the campaign and sets it live. It will start sending at its scheduled time.
Once a campaign has launched, you will see a new screen confirming that the campaign was created successfully.
To control who has final approval of campaign sends, see Permission: Campaign Approval.
When selecting waterfall, you will be able to select which channels (minimum of 2) you will send messages through and the order of priority that AIQ will try. For example, if you selected text as the primary channel and email as the secondary, AIQ will send texts to everyone in the audience with a phone number. AIQ will then proceed to send emails to those who did not receive a text.
