Manual POS Reporting
Not every store uses an out-of-the-box POS provider, and not every POS provider is available to integrate with your AIQ account.
Manual reporting will allow you to use your data and AIQ to access and run loyalty programs, target marketing campaigns, and sales analytics without a full integration.
Check to see if we have an integration with your point of sale before continuing.
- This is a manual process that requires exporting transaction or POS data into a "database" (ex: OneDrive S3-Emulate).
- AIQ will then pull the exported sales data from the integrated database into AIQ nightly
- With each nightly pull, AIQ will sync customer information, transaction information, and update audiences based on new/updated customer traits.
To ensure accurate reporting and loyalty accrual/redemptions, be sure to upload your transaction reports into your integrated database at the end of every sales day so points are updated within 24 hours.
- Generate a transactional line item report from the POSÂ
- Typically available as a CSV file from the POS or other method of tracking sales
- After generating the report, update the headers (the first row) in the file to exactly match AIQ's mapped headers.
- Required Fields: TransactionID & Patient Number
- Required Fields: ReceiptId & customerId
Files that are not formatted correctly can sync incorrect contact or sales information into your AIQ account! It is important to review any documents for accuracy before uploading them to AIQ!
- After updating the headers, upload your file into your OneDrive or S3 (Emulate) folder integrated with AIQ
- Files will upload overnight
- Data will be processed and ready within 24 hours
- How much data can I import into AIQ?
- AIQ can pull in 12 month historical transaction data
- If I delete a file in OneDrive, will AIQ retain the data?
- Yes! If a file is removed from OneDrive, AIQ retains the data
- OneDrive file information can only be deleted from a support request
- If I delete a file in S3 (Emulate), will AIQ retain the data?
- No! If a file is removed from S3 (Emulate), all data from the file will be removed from AIQ.
