Dutchie POS
This integration allows:
- Pulling of customer records, sales, inventory
- In-POS signups
- Discount and redemption tracking
- AIQ to be enabled as an integration
- Your Dutchie POS API keys Ensure permissions for customers, transactions, products, and inventory is enabled
- If you have multiple locations, Dutchie POS will send you an API key for each location. If you have both MED and REC sides to the business, you'll have separate MED and REC Dutchie POS keys and need to input them both into AIQ
- Once you receive the key(s), log in to your AIQ dashboard and head to Settings > Data Integrations
- Search for Dutchie POS integration and click the green Connect button and the settings will pop out on the left side
5. Add your Store Name (as provided by DutchiePOS) and your API key in the Key fields and click the green Add Credential (it won't save unless you do this!)
7. Scroll down to the Loyalty section bottom and check off *All users are age compliant with my industry?
8. Click the green Update Connection and your DutchiePOS integration will start pulling data!
NOTE: Do not touch any other settings in this integration card without consulting an Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager as they can affect your data and the customer's opt-in status!
A few things to note:
- Within 24 hours, you should see data populating in AIQ.
- Look under your Personas page in AIQ. The integration is functioning properly if you see "leaflogix" under the Sourced from column.
- Once you see data coming through AIQ, you must "map" the API key to the store(s) to assign a "favorite store" to the customer.
How to map a store:
1. Click Settings in the top-left of your AIQ dashboard
2. Click Manage store(s) 2. Click Customize
3. Under Map store names you'll see the DutchiePOS symbol. 4. Click on the empty field to the right of the symbol and a dropdown will appear to "map" the key.
5. Click the green Save settings button
This process must be replicated if/when a new store is added!
See Integration Settings for more optional settings.
Please make sure you give your Dutchie POS representative your AIQ API Key (located under Settings > API & Tracking) in order for them to activate Discount synching. You wont be able to use discounts or the wallet until this is set!
You can check to see if it's connected in your Dutchie POS account by navigating here:
1. Create the discount as you normally would inside AIQ
2. Copy the discount ID found on your Discounts page
3. In your Dutchie POS admin page, go to Marketing -> Discounts -> Primary Discounts
4. Scroll down to Apply this discount select By AIQ
5. In the field below, paste your AIQ discount ID (from step 2) and click create
6. Thats it! You can repeat the process for all additional discounts.
There are two ways to sign customers up for loyalty in DutchiePOS:
I. When completing a registration form for a customer during checkout, click on the "tag" icon in the top-right, and a Loyalty Registration form will pop up
2. The budtender can sign a customer up for AIQ loyalty on the payment screen in Dutchie POS by clicking the Signup Customer for AIQ checkbox. To enable this, contact [email protected] and ask them to enable the Register for Loyalty Popup feature flag in DutchiePOS.
A LOYALTY MEMBER tag will appear the next time this customer checks in but only if that customer signs up for AIQ loyalty through Dutchie POS.
If you have this version of POS specifically, you can actually redeem discounts via the checkout in Leaflogix instead of using the Budtender view.
Things to keep in mind:
- You can only look up customers via their mobile phone number
- The Two Factor Authentication can be substituted for a Master PIN code but this will decrease the security of customers' available discounts & points. This toggle can be found in your Loyalty settings under Configure AIQ
- You cannot add new loyalty members as this requires our signup form flow
- Looking up and redeeming customers' discounts via the Budtender view can be used as an alternative workflow should you not choose to enable in-POS discount redemptions
If you want to rely on Dutchie POS to handle new loyalty signups, make sure budtenders are filling in this form after clicking the "tag" icon:
- name
- phone
- email
- gender
- birthdate
- address
- med id
- discount groups
- sales
- Yes! Create the Discount Group in Dutchie POS then hop over to your AIQ audience builder and build an audience using Custom brand traits : Discount Groups : contains : [name of Discount Group in Dutchie POS]
- Once the audience is created in AIQ, any contact that gets added to the Discount Group in Leaf Logix will automatically be added to the audience in AIQ
- Make sure to update the discount settings within Dutchie POS, head to Discount Configuration > Additional Options > Default Applied To > "Distributed Among Every Item":
If you're using a current version of Dutchie POS, head to Settings > Integrations > AIQ and under select Yes next to Bypass 2FA
