About AIQ's integration with Buddi

  • Customers can sign up for the Club Membership Program within the Buddi checkout page
  • Customers can view their points balance and club discounts
  • Discounts can be redeemed inside the Buddi checkout page
  • Customers can accrue club points on every purchase
  • Currently, Buddi is only available for stores using the Greenline point-of-sale system

How to Connect AIQ to Buddi

  1. In AIQ, and head to Settings > API & Tracking and obtain your UID and your API Key.
  2. Log into your Buddi account via http://app.buddi.io and head to Store Management > Store settings > Online Menu: Club Membership
  3. Paste in your AIQ UID and API Key
  4. Select "Fetch Stores" and a dropdown will appear where you can select the applicable stores
  5. Save

How to Map a Store

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Company Account > Retail Store
  2. Click Edit on the store you wish you map
  3. Under Store Mappings you'll see the Buddi symbol
  4. Click on the empty field to the right of the symbol and a dropdown will appear to "map" the key
  5. Click Save settings and you are done mapping the store. Keep in mind this must be repeated for any additional stores that you add to the account.

Create AIQ Discounts

  1. In AIQ, configure a new Discounts using our Discount Builder
  2. While configuring, it is important to note that Buddi supports the following discount settings
    1. Discount Descriptions
    2. Timing & Expiration
    3. Audience Target
    4. Redemptions: Only percentage (%) based discounts are supported
  3. Review and publish your discount

Using AIQ discounts in Buddi

What an existing club member sees in Buddi

  1. When an existing club member checks out in Buddi, they'll be prompted to enter their phone number and receive a four-digit confirmation code via SMS
  2. The customer will then enter that four-digit code to obtain their available discounts.
  3. They'll be able to apply those discounts to the order which will be distributed amongst every item.

What a non-club member sees in Buddi

  1. When a non-club member checks out, they'll still be prompted to input their phone number but instead of their available discounts, a sign-up form will appear prompting them to join the club.
  2. The customer will have to fill out the sign-up form and agree to the terms
  3. When they sign-up, they'll automatically become a club member in AIQ and receive an SMS opt-in request

What the budtender sees in the point-of-sale

When the order comes through in Greenline, the budtender must manually assign the customer to the order. This ensures the customer still accrues points for that order:

FAQ's

  • How long does it take before I start to see my POS data in AIQ?
    • Within 24 hours, you should see data populating in AIQ
  • How can I confirm that the integration is active and signups are being sent?
    • Look under your Personas page in AIQ. The integration is functioning properly if you see new personas being added from Buddi
  • I am getting an account notification that I have unmapped stores, how can I fix this?
    • Once you see data coming through AIQ, you must "map" the API key to the store(s) to assign a "favorite store" to the customer. See How to Map a Store above for directions on how to accomplish this.
  • Are there any additional settings I can enable?
  • Is there a walkthrough of the integration?
