- Customers can sign up for the Club Membership Program within the Buddi checkout page
- Customers can view their points balance and club discounts
- Discounts can be redeemed inside the Buddi checkout page
- Customers can accrue club points on every purchase
- Currently, Buddi is only available for stores using the Greenline point-of-sale system
- Log into your Buddi account via http://app.buddi.io and head to Store Management > Store settings > Online Menu: Club Membership
- Paste in your AIQ UID and API Key
- Select "Fetch Stores" and a dropdown will appear where you can select the applicable stores
- Save
- Navigate to Settings -> Company Account > Retail Store
- Click Edit on the store you wish you map
- Under Store Mappings you'll see the Buddi symbol
- Click on the empty field to the right of the symbol and a dropdown will appear to "map" the key
- Click Save settings and you are done mapping the store. Keep in mind this must be repeated for any additional stores that you add to the account.
- While configuring, it is important to note that Buddi supports the following discount settings
- Discount Descriptions
- Timing & Expiration
- Audience Target
- Redemptions: Only percentage (%) based discounts are supported
- Review and publish your discount
- When an existing club member checks out in Buddi, they'll be prompted to enter their phone number and receive a four-digit confirmation code via SMS
- The customer will then enter that four-digit code to obtain their available discounts.
- They'll be able to apply those discounts to the order which will be distributed amongst every item.
- When a non-club member checks out, they'll still be prompted to input their phone number but instead of their available discounts, a sign-up form will appear prompting them to join the club.
- The customer will have to fill out the sign-up form and agree to the terms
- When they sign-up, they'll automatically become a club member in AIQ and receive an SMS opt-in request
When the order comes through in Greenline, the budtender must manually assign the customer to the order. This ensures the customer still accrues points for that order:
- How long does it take before I start to see my POS data in AIQ?
- Within 24 hours, you should see data populating in AIQ
- How can I confirm that the integration is active and signups are being sent?
- Look under your Personas page in AIQ. The integration is functioning properly if you see new personas being added from Buddi
- I am getting an account notification that I have unmapped stores, how can I fix this?
- Once you see data coming through AIQ, you must "map" the API key to the store(s) to assign a "favorite store" to the customer. See How to Map a Store above for directions on how to accomplish this.
