AIQ uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our guiding principle for ADA compliance.
We continually test our content and features for WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance and do our best to remediate any issues and meet or exceed the standards.
AIQ will give you WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliant colors and fonts by default. If you make changes, you should consult an online compliance tool to ensure you are continuing to meet those requirements. There are many free online tools, including WCAG Color Contrast Checker.

For ecommerce menus, the compliance level typically required is WCAG 2.1 AA. This is the standard most commonly referenced in accessibility laws and regulations worldwide, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States and the European Accessibility Act in the European Union. WCAG 2.1 AA ensures a balance between being accessible to a wide range of users with disabilities and being feasible for most websites to implement. WCAG 2.1 AAA is a stricter standard, but it is not generally required for legal compliance. It is more often used in specific cases where a higher level of accessibility is desired.
