Order Queues

Order queues (or lines) are used by high volume stores to help manage customer flow in their physical store.

Enabling Queues

  1. Navigate to Store > Settings > In Store Orders
  2. Scroll down to Order Queues and toggle to ON
  3. Click Add Queue and add as many queues as you need. Give them any name you want.
  4. Click Save

Queue Assignment

When new orders come in, AIQ Ecommerce will automatically assign the order to a queue based on the order you have configured in your settings.

For the example below: When the first orders comes in AIQ Ecommerce will assign it to "Queue 1". When the second order comes in AIQ Ecommerce will assign the order to "Queue 2", and so on.

Managing Orders with Queues

Staff members that are assigned to take orders at a specific queue can enable filtering in the Manage tab so they only see orders assigned to their queue:
