AIQ Ecommerce offers (aka Deals) feature allows stores to set up various types of discounts for their customers.

Offers lives at the organization/company level, so you can set up a discount at a single location, multiple locations, or all your locations, so you can keep things consistent.

Reorder Offers on the Menu

You can organize the ordering of the offer tiles on consumer menus by using the reorder component: either enter in the number in the box or use the up/down arrows to change the order.

Preview an Offer on the menu

To preview an offer you just created, click on the dropdown and select the store for which you want to preview. If you only have 1 store, that will be your only option in the dropdown.

Offer Analytics

You can view how well your offers performed in the redemption column on the Offers page, for more info see Offer Analytics.

Create an Offer

  1. Navigate to the Menu > Offers section of the app.
  2. Click the Add (+) button.
  3. Fill out your offer details, instructions here: Offer Types.
  4. Save.

Offer Types

More about specific Offer Types.

  • Cart discounts: Applied to the total purchase amount of a customer's shopping cart.
  • BOGO ('buy one, get one' or 'buy x, get y') deals: Allows customers to purchase a certain number of items (x) and receive a different number of items (y) for free or at a reduced price.
  • Flat Amount (aka multi-buy or bundle) deals: Applies a fixed dollar amount on specific items in a customer's purchase.
  • Sale (aka product-level discounts): Apply a percentage (%) OR a flat ($) amount off to a product or set of products within filter(s) that you've set.

Exclusions in Offers

When you're adding product filters - or specific items - to an offer, you can decide whether or not to include or exclude them from the offer. Examples:

  • 20% off Pre Rolls, excluding Brand X
  • 20% off all Flower, excluding Product A, Product B, and Product C

Offer Stacking

Stacking is how discounts and offers are applied together in the cart. AIQ Ecommerce supports three different options at the store-level, set in Store Settings > Orders:

  • No Stacking
  • No Double Stacking
  • Stacking

You can also set more specific stacking settings at the individual offer-level. For more details and examples, see Discount Stacking.

Limit use per order

This setting can be used for Deals and Sales (not Cart Discounts) to limit how many times a customer can redeem the same offer.

  • For example, if you wanted to limit the number of redemptions to just 1 per order, type a 1 in this field. If you don't want to set a limit, just leave this blank.

This setting could be helpful if you want to run a targeted promo, but don't want to allow the customer to redeem it multiple times in the same order.

Note: We do not currently allow for limiting per customer.

Custom Offers Image

You can customize the look of your deals by uploading a background image in the Settings section while creating an offer.

Promo Codes

You can set up a promo code for any offer type. See Promo Codes.

Scheduling Offers

To enable and disable the redemption of an offer automatically, you can set a schedule for it. Scheduling can be used for any offer type. See Scheduling Offers.

Custom Offers Icon

  1. Navigate to Menu > Categories > Offers
  2. Here you will see the default offer icon and an option to Upload your custom icon.
  3. Save

Turning the Offers Category or Icon Off

  1. Navigate to Menu > Categories
  2. Toggle the Offers category to OFF to hide the entire category from the menu. OR if you want to still show on your menu, but remove from the category carousel, click into the detail and toggle OFF the Show as Icon on Home Page
  3. Save

Duplicate Offers (aka copy, clone)

  1. Navigate to Menu > Offers > Select the offer you'd like to copy
  2. Click on the more menu (...) and select Duplicate
  3. After duplication, you'll find an identical offer marked with 'copy of' before the title. The offer will be toggled OFF by default.
  4. Make any edits to the products, schedule dates, offer stacking settings, etc.
  5. Save your changes and activate the deal.

If your offer contains a promo code, the promo code will duplicate to the new offer, but with '-copy' added at the end of the promo code. Don't forget to customize it with the promo code name of your choice!
