Offers
AIQ Ecommerce Offers (aka Deals) feature allows stores to set up various types of discounts for their customers.
Offers lives at the organization/company level, so you can set up a discount at a single location, multiple locations, or all your locations, to help you keep things consistent across your org.
You can organize the ordering of the offer tiles on consumer menus by using the reorder component: either enter in the number in the box or use the up/down arrows to change the order.

To preview an offer you just created, click on the dropdown and select the store for which you want to preview. If you only have 1 store, that will be your only option in the dropdown.
You can view how well your offers performed in the redemption column on the Offers page, for more info see Offer Analytics.
- Navigate to the Menu > Offers section of the app.
- Click the Add (+) button.
- Cart discounts: Applied to the total purchase amount of a customer's shopping cart.
- BOGO ('buy one, get one' or 'buy x, get y') deals: Allows customers to purchase a certain number of items (x) and receive a different number of items (y) for free or at a reduced price.
- Flat Amount (aka multi-buy or bundle) deals: Applies a fixed dollar amount on specific items in a customer's purchase.
- Sale (aka product-level discounts): Apply a percentage (%) OR a flat ($) amount off to a product or set of products within filter(s) that you've set.
- Segment your Offer
- Location Segmentation: Select which Location (Stores) you want the Offer to show for. Defaults to All.
- Order Type Segmentation: Select which Order Types you want the Offer to apply to. Defaults to All.
- Note: Customers will see Offers for all Order Types, however, there will be an indication on the Offer tile if it applies to only certain order types. We will not restrict a customer from adding the offer or products within the offer to their cart, but will enforce applying the offer at checkout.
- Add your products and discount amounts.
- Set any additional settings (outlined below)
- Save.
When you're adding product filters - or specific items - to an offer, you can decide whether or not to include or exclude them from the offer. Examples:
- 20% off Pre Rolls, excluding Brand X
- 20% off all Flower, excluding Product A, Product B, and Product C
Stacking is how discounts and offers are applied together in the cart. AIQ Ecommerce supports three different options at the store-level, set in Store Settings > Orders:
- No Stacking
- No Double Stacking
- Stacking
You can also set more specific stacking settings at the individual offer-level. For more details and examples, see Discount Stacking.
This setting can be used for Deals and Sales (not Cart Discounts) to limit how many times a customer can redeem the same offer in an order.
- For example, if you wanted to limit the number of redemptions to just 1 per order, type a 1 in this field. If you don't want to set a limit, just leave this blank.
This setting could be helpful if you want to run a targeted promo, but don't want to allow the customer to redeem it multiple times in the same order.
This setting can be used to limit how many times a customer can redeem the same offer.
- For example, if you wanted to limit the number of redemptions to just 1 for that customer, type a 1 in this field. If you don't want to set a limit, just leave this blank.
There are some possible limitations to enforcing this feature:
- If the customer is logged-in, we know their PII (email/phone) and can ensure that the limit set is enforced.
- If the customer is NOT logged-in, we will check their email/phone input at checkout
- Note: If you have decided to not show these fields at checkout, the setting may not apply.
This setting applies only to customers that AIQ Ecom recognizes in its CRM: those who have placed an online, walkup, or kiosk order through AIQ Ecom. Customers added via POS, manual uploads to AIQ Personas, or other non-Ecom order sources may not be recognized.
You can customize the look of your deals by uploading a background image in the Settings section while creating an offer.
You can set up a promo code for any offer type. See Promo Codes.
To enable and disable the redemption of an offer automatically, you can set a schedule for it. Scheduling can be used for any offer type. See Scheduling Offers.
- Navigate to Menu > Categories > Offers
- Here you will see the default offer icon and an option to Upload your custom icon.
- Save
- Navigate to Menu > Categories
- Toggle the Offers category to OFF to hide the entire category from the menu. OR if you want to still show on your menu, but remove from the category carousel, click into the detail and toggle OFF the Show as Icon on Home Page
- Save
- Navigate to Menu > Offers > Select the offer you'd like to copy
- Click on the more menu (...) and select Duplicate
- After duplication, you'll find an identical offer marked with 'copy of' before the title. The offer will be toggled OFF by default.
- Make any edits to the products, schedule dates, offer stacking settings, etc.
- Save your changes and activate the deal.
If your offer contains a promo code, the promo code will duplicate to the new offer, but with '-copy' added at the end of the promo code. Don't forget to customize it with the promo code name of your choice!
