Clover
Our integration with Clover pulls orders, transactions, and inventory. Additionally, personas that sign up over an AIQ sign-up form are posted to Clover if Sync Contacts is enabled.
INVENTORY: Ensure Track Stock is enabled under Inventory -> Setup -> Track Stock in your Clover dashboard.
These steps will take you through acquiring an API token from your Clover dashboard and inserting into AIQ. This token opens up your data to AIQ.
- Click Account & Setup
Under Business Operations, click API Tokens
- Click Create Token
- Input a memorable Token name, like AIQ, and select all Read checkboxes
Select Write for Customers. Click Create Token
Reveal the private token with the Eye Icon, and click Copy. Save your token somewhere safe for the next steps.
Copy and save your Merchant ID from the URL in your address bar. It is shown as ABCD1234ABCD1 in the example picture
Find the Clover card, and click Connect
Insert the Merchant ID and API Token from earlier. Click Add Credential.
- Scroll to the bottom, and click Update Connection.
You did it!
Your customers and their orders will now populate within AIQ after 24 hours.

When redeeming and applying discounts using the Clover POS integration, you'll want to be sure to take both steps of Redeeming the discount with your customer and applying the discount.
Discount Redemptions take place through the AIQ staff app or directly through the customer wallet

Customer's will need to provide Clover their information at or before checkout so customers can be identified after being synced to AIQ.
We recommend collecting phone numbers when signing customers up, as phone numbers are high priority identifiers. Check our Persona Merging article for more information on customer trait priority.
