Delivery Zones via geoJSON
5min
GeoJSON is a format for encoding a variety of geographic data structures.
Use GeoJSON files to map out specific coordinates for your delivery zones.
- Example use case: Map out a zone that is a 15 minute drive from your store ($5 fee) and another that is a 30 minute drive from your store ($10 fee)
- Example use case: You can deliver to neighborhood A, but neighborhood B is a commercial area that restricts deliveries. Using the snapping boundary can ensure compliance, even if the neighborhoods are within the same zip code.
There are many different programs that you can use to create your GeoJSON file. QGIS is an open source option.
In the following articles, we will explain how to use QGIS to map your zones.
